Job Overview

Our client, a rapidly expanding commercial HVAC leader, is looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Estimator to take ownership of high-value mechanical packages worth up to $1M. This role offers the flexibility of a remote environment while allowing you to play a critical role in securing major contracts and driving market growth.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 01:00 PM AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial HVAC mechanical packages up to $1M value
• Use Dindo estimating software to prepare accurate and competitive project estimates
• Reach out to suppliers to obtain current pricing and material information
• Review project specifications and technical drawings to develop comprehensive estimates
• Support the tendering process for commercial HVAC projects
• Collaborate with the team to ensure estimates align with project requirements and company standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimating activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC/mechanical estimating
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems and mechanical packages
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations
• Professional communication skills for supplier interactions and team collaboration
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with Dindo estimating software preferred, or willingness to learn quickly
• Experience with CAD software or technical drafting is a plus
