Founded in 2023, they’ve scaled from a solo operation to serving multiple clients and recently gained Medicaid approval, positioning them for significant expansion. Job Overview: You’ll be the operational backbone of a compassionate home care agency that’s expanding rapidly. This role puts you at the center of ensuring seamless care delivery for seniors while supporting a team of dedicated caregivers. You’ll own critical administrative functions that directly impact both caregiver satisfaction and client care quality. As the business grows from 6 clients to many more, you’ll have the opportunity to build systems and processes from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate caregiver assignments across multiple client locations
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to caregivers in real-time
- Monitor caregiver attendance and ensure compliance with clock-in procedures
- Process client invoicing and initiate payroll for the caregiver team
- Schedule and coordinate onboarding appointments for new Medicaid clients
- Verify Medicaid authorizations and manage compliance documentation
- Serve as primary communication hub between caregivers, clients, and management
- Support daily operations and administrative tasks as the business scales
- Help establish efficient workflows for the expanding Medicaid operations
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with scheduling systems and basic payroll processes
- Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup
- Availability to work during Eastern Time business hours
- Bonus if you have healthcare administration or home care industry experience
- It helps if you’re familiar with Medicaid processes and authorization requirements
- Bonus if you have experience working with caregiver teams or healthcare staffing
