Overview

Our client is looking for a Senior CAD Designer (Revit) to serve as their main dedicated designer, turning LiDAR scan data into precise 3D models and drawings. Working directly with the Director of Operations, you will take full ownership of your output while helping clear a backlog of projects waiting on 3D designs. In this role, you will set the quality and format standards for the team, with a clear opportunity to grow into a lead role overseeing future CAD designers as the company expands.

Schedule:

• Full-time - 35h per week, flexible but with overlap with UK business hours for communication

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D CAD designs (Revit and DWG) from LiDAR scan data to support project delivery
• Produce 2D CAD drawings, DXF and DWG files, and 2D floor plans that faithfully represent existing buildings
• Prepare PDF floor plans from the processed data for client deliverables
• Work closely with the Director of Operations to review designs and ensure they are right before client delivery
• Maintain consistent quality and format standards across all design outputs
• Clearly flag and document measurement accuracy limits where scans cover only communal areas and exteriors

Must-have Requirements:

• Proven experience producing 3D CAD designs (Revit and DWG) and 2D drawings from scan or point cloud data
• Comfortable working with partial building scans without making a fuss, and clear about accuracy limitations
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the work
• Willingness to grow into a lead role and help oversee future CAD team members

Nice-to-have Requirements:

• Bonus if you have worked on property management, real estate, or restaurant projects
• It helps if you have experience reviewing or checking the quality of design work
• Bonus if you have experience guiding or mentoring other designers
