Our client is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Estimator to own the commercial estimating pipeline for a high-volume plumbing operation. Working remotely, you'll use established pricing systems and platforms to produce accurate estimates quickly and consistently. This role gives you the autonomy to manage your workflow, deliver results independently, and directly impact the company's ability to win and execute profitable projects.

Client Overview

Our client is a busy residential and commercial plumbing company operating across Australia. They specialize in commercial, residential, and industrial plumbing projects and are experiencing significant growth. The team is expanding to keep pace with demand and deliver accurate, timely estimates to their clients.

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial plumbing estimates using BuildingJack platform and company price lists
• Complete multiple estimates per day, targeting two to three estimates daily
• Apply pre-set labor costs, margins, and pricing structures consistently across all quotes
• Utilize EstimateOne platform for estimate preparation and submission
• Review project specifications and translate them into detailed cost breakdowns
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across all estimates
• Communicate with the team regarding estimate status and any clarifications needed
• Support the business during peak periods by maximizing estimate output

Requirements

• Two to five years of experience in plumbing estimation
• Proficiency with estimating software and platforms
• Strong understanding of plumbing labor costs, materials, and project margins
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations
• Reliable internet connection and suitable remote work setup

Qualifications

• Experience with BuildingJack platform is a plus
• Experience using EstimateOne for estimate preparation is a plus
• Commercial plumbing project experience is preferred
• Familiarity with Australian plumbing standards and pricing
