Senior B2B Marketing & Content Specialist

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior B2B Marketing & Content Specialist to join our team on an 11-month fixed-term contract (August 2026 – July 2027). This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled B2B marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across content marketing, digital campaigns, social media, SEO, AI-assisted marketing, email marketing, webinars, and marketing analytics.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will play a key role in strengthening brand awareness, driving audience engagement, supporting demand generation initiatives, and producing high-quality marketing content targeted at professional services audiences. This role requires a proactive marketer who can quickly adapt, manage multiple priorities, and work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST (Includes a 1-hour break, 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

Content Marketing & Communications

  • Write engaging, authoritative blogs, articles, customer success stories, and thought leadership content.
  • Produce sponsored content for external publications.
  • Research and identify opportunities to increase online brand visibility.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and business objectives.

Social Media Management

  • Own and manage the company's LinkedIn presence.
  • Develop and execute social media content calendars.
  • Write compelling social media copy.
  • Schedule and publish content.
  • Engage with followers and industry professionals.
  • Monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Manage customer reviews and responses across third-party review platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

Knowledge Base Management

  • Maintain and continuously improve the customer knowledge base.
  • Work closely with Customer Support to ensure documentation remains accurate, useful, and up to date.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer self-service resources.

Email Marketing

  • Create and coordinate email marketing campaigns.
  • Produce quarterly newsletters.
  • Assist with nurture campaigns and digital communications.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.

Search Marketing (SEO & SEM)

  • Support Google Ads campaign management.
  • Assist with ad copy development.
  • Monitor campaign performance.
  • Identify optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute to SEO initiatives including: Keyword research, meta titles and descriptions, content optimization, and search visibility improvements.

AI-Assisted Marketing & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)

  • Utilize AI tools to improve marketing efficiency and content quality.
  • Create content optimized for AI-powered search experiences.
  • Apply Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) best practices.
  • Stay current on emerging AI marketing technologies and search trends.

Landing Page Optimization

  • Improve website landing page performance.
  • Optimize messaging, structure, and conversion paths.
  • Use AI-assisted insights to refine content and improve conversion rates.
  • Conduct ongoing testing and optimization.

Campaign Coordination

  • Support planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate timelines, creative assets, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule.

Webinar Support

  • Develop webinar registration content.
  • Prepare presentation slide decks.
  • Coordinate webinar logistics.
  • Moderate attendee Q&A sessions.
  • Support post-event follow-up activities.

Marketing Analytics

  • Track campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
  • Analyze key marketing metrics.
  • Prepare reports and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor KPIs including: Organic website traffic, social engagement, email performance, landing page conversion, and campaign effectiveness.

General Marketing Support

  • Assist with website updates.
  • Promote company announcements and achievements.
  • Support new marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute across multiple marketing disciplines as business needs evolve.

During the contract, you will contribute toward:

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or related roles
  • Strong background in B2B marketing
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to write across multiple content formats, including: Thought leadership articles, blogs, customer case studies, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral
  • Experience managing LinkedIn business pages
  • Experience with community engagement and online reputation management
  • Experience coordinating integrated marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and similar AI platforms
  • Understanding of SEO best practices
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new industries and subject matter
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Google Search Console.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Moz or similar platforms.
  • Experience with HubSpot including: Blogs, Email Marketing, Workflows
  • Experience managing webinars.
  • Knowledge of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
  • Experience optimizing landing pages for conversions.
  • Basic graphic design skills.
  • Experience working within professional services or legal industry environments.
