Outbound Sales Development Representative

Overview

Our client is seeking a high-energy, professional Lead Generation and Outreach Specialist to support the growth of a scaling healthcare equipment company. In this role, you will focus on outbound prospecting, contacting healthcare facilities to identify surplus medical equipment available for sale, and gathering basic qualifying information. Success is driven by high-volume daily calls, meaningful conversations, and smoothly handing off qualified opportunities to the internal sales team.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting calls to healthcare facilities, initially focusing on imaging centers.
  • Navigate hospital and clinic phone systems to connect with appropriate contacts and decision-makers.
  • Deliver clear and professional company introductions using approved scripts and messaging.
  • Identify and qualify potential leads through strategic questioning and information gathering.
  • Accurately document call outcomes, contact details, and lead information within the company’s CRM and lead tracking systems.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely, accurate lead handoff to the internal team.
  • Collaborate with internal sales to hand off leads for follow-ups and closing.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with a professional and confident phone presence.
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound and cold calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow scripts while naturally adapting conversations based on responses.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information.
  • Experience with CRM systems, data entry, and outbound prospecting is preferred.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and able to maintain a positive attitude throughout the workday.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office environment suitable for phone-based work.
