Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Architectural CAD/Revit Drafter (Australia Standards) to support architectural and construction development projects across Australia. In this role, you will transform design briefs and sketches into precise technical drawings while ensuring absolute compliance with regional building standards. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a remote environment and can manage multiple drafting projects simultaneously with high accuracy.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Flexible hours AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation in Revit and/or AutoCAD to Australian standards.
• Interpret design briefs, sketches, and markups to develop accurate working drawings.
• Ensure all drafting output complies with relevant Australian building codes and regulations.
• Coordinate revisions and incorporate client feedback efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain consistency and quality across all project deliverables.
• Support multiple concurrent projects across various Australian states and regions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Revit (preferred) and/or AutoCAD for architectural drafting.
• Demonstrated experience producing architectural documentation for Australian projects.
• Familiarity with Australian building codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all drawings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with the team and respond to feedback.
