PowerApps Specialist/Developer

Overview

Our client is looking for a PowerApps Specialist/Developer to lead a major digital transformation initiative. In this role, you will design and deploy custom Microsoft PowerApps solutions to replace outdated legacy CRM and database systems. You will unify a fragmented IT stack into a seamless Microsoft ecosystem while building user-friendly interfaces for field workers and administrative staff. Additionally, you will work with SQL and APIs to ensure secure data flow and lay the groundwork for future automation phases. This is an exciting remote opportunity to drive high-impact technology updates for a growing organization.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (AEST) Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps to replace existing CRM systems and workflow tools.
  • Migrate and integrate data from legacy systems including Access databases into new PowerApps solutions.
  • Work with SQL code and APIs to ensure seamless data flow between different systems and applications.
  • Build user-friendly interfaces for field workers and administrative staff to improve data collection and reporting processes.
  • Provide guidance and training to the internal team on PowerApps functionality and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations within the Microsoft suite of tools.
  • Plan and implement future phases of technology integration including scanning software and additional workflow automation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive expertise in Microsoft PowerApps development and implementation.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and database management.
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating multiple software systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proven ability to work independently as a remote contractor while maintaining regular communication with clients.
  • If you have hands-on experience migrating legacy Microsoft Access databases, building custom PowerApps CRMs, and integrating document scanning software is a plus.
  • If you have background in healthcare technology with a strong understanding of data privacy requirements (specifically Australian privacy standards) is a plus.
