Social Media, PR, and IT Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a versatile and proactive professional to bridge the gap between our marketing, PR, and technical operations. In this role, you will champion brand consistency across social media and media outlets while simultaneously supporting the tech team by troubleshooting automation workflows and managing beta tester feedback. It is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in scaling both our company platforms and a premium executive brand.

Schedule:

  • Part-time (20 hours/week) with potential to grow into full-time
  • Working hours within the Eastern Time (ET) zone on weekdays

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain brand consistency across social media platforms and PR channels
  • Coordinate with high-end advertisement companies and media outlets to ensure PR campaigns and podcast promotions are executed effectively
  • Oversee the beta testing phase of the recruiting, onboarding, contracting, and staff activation app, collecting and organizing user feedback
  • Liaise with the development team to troubleshoot technical issues including webhook integrations with Zapier and recruiting platform connections
  • Monitor and respond to support tickets from beta testers in a timely manner
  • Assist with digital advertising efforts and content scheduling to support brand growth
  • Supporting both the company's operational platforms and Jannelle's personal brand-building initiatives
  • Acting as a bridge between the executive, the development team, and external PR and media partners
  • Handling light IT support tasks alongside core marketing and communications responsibilities

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management, PR coordination, or digital marketing
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier and recruiting platforms like Glassdoor and Indeed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent a premium brand
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
