Outbound Unclaimed Property Recovery Specialist
Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Outbound Unclaimed Property Recovery Specialist to support investigative research and outbound outreach operations. This is not a basic administrative role; it is a dynamic position combining skip tracing, public database research, and confident cold calling to identify, locate, and engage potential clients regarding unclaimed assets and estate-related matters. The ideal candidate possesses sharp critical thinking skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and a professional phone presence capable of handling sensitive conversations with U.S.-based individuals.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST, with 1 hour unpaid break (35 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Investigative Research & Skip Tracing: Research public databases and unclaimed property accounts; locate original asset owners, heirs, and beneficiaries using advanced skip-tracing and genealogy tools.
- Identity Verification: Cross-reference complex data points—including names, addresses, historical records, and family trees—to verify ownership and build airtight lead profiles.
- Outbound Outreach: Conduct outbound cold calls to U.S.-based individuals; professionally explain complex asset retrieval services using approved scripts, handle objections, and build immediate rapport.
- Lead Progression: Identify qualified prospects, move leads through the engagement funnel, and consistently schedule and manage strategic follow-up activities.
- Data & CRM Management: Maintain and update lead tracking systems in Google Sheets and the company CRM; log highly detailed call notes, outcomes, and next-step actions.
- Compliance & Metrics: Maintain absolute confidentiality while handling sensitive personal information; consistently hit daily call quotas, KPIs, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Communication Mastery: Excellent spoken and written English communication skills with strong confidence and professional phone presence on cold calls.
- Phone-Based Experience: Proven track record in cold calling, outbound sales, lead generation, or appointment setting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical mindsets with high attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Technical Savvy: Quick learner capable of navigating multiple online investigative tools, databases, and digital systems independently.
- Resilience: Comfortable navigating rejection and managing multi-touch follow-up conversations with high-stakes prospects.
Qualifications
- Experience in skip tracing, investigative research, genealogy, legal support, or real estate wholesaling is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Google Sheets, and U.S. public record search directories.
- Previous experience successfully managing or communicating with U.S.-based clients.
