Job Overview

Our client is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Marketing Assistant to drive brand awareness and user acquisition for an innovative trading and investment platform. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the founding team. You will take ownership of the company’s social media presence, primarily focusing on Facebook and Instagram. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can translate complex financial features into engaging content, with the potential for affiliate marketing opportunities and revenue sharing as the platform scales.

Client Overview

Our client is an AI-powered all-in-one trading solution for stocks, options, and cryptocurrency. They simplify complex financial markets for everyday users through unique features, including accessible venture capital pools and automated trading tools.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 4 hours daily (20 work hours per week). Specific shift times are TBD but will align with Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Create and publish engaging content regularly across Facebook and Instagram to maintain brand visibility.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute social media strategies targeting key demographics to drive user sign-ups.
  • Lead Nurturing: Monitor and respond to warm leads and inquiries on social channels, passing qualified prospects to the sales team.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and report on social media metrics and engagement rates to optimize the overall content strategy.
  • Market Research: Stay current with fintech trends, platform updates, and competitor activities in the trading space.
  • Multi-Platform Support: Assist with content for YouTube, TikTok, and other emerging channels as the brand expands.
  • Founding Team Collaboration: Align social media messaging with overall business objectives and new product launches.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Mid-level expertise in social media marketing with a portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns.
  • Platform Mastery: Strong hands-on experience with Facebook and Instagram marketing tools and analytics.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to write compelling copy that drives user engagement.
  • Independence: A self-starter who can take initiative and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Marketing Fundamentals: Deep understanding of audience targeting, engagement strategies, and conversion optimization.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in financial services, fintech, or the cryptocurrency industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience with affiliate marketing or revenue-sharing models is a plus.
  • Familiarity with video content creation (YouTube/TikTok) and AI-powered marketing tools.
  • Marketing degree or relevant digital marketing certification is an advantage.
