AutoCAD Draftsperson

Schedule: Part Time (20 hours per week) Flexible hours 

Responsibilities

  • Translate conceptual landscape designs into permit-ready drawing sets based on provided specifications and examples
  • Prepare accurate and compliant landscape architecture documentation for permitting purposes
  • Assist with creating presentations and renders for landscape architecture projects
  • Manage and organize project files and drawing documentation
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to local permitting standards and client-provided templates

Requirements

  • Strong background in architecture or engineering with proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Portfolio samples required / Drawings
  • Experience preparing permit sets for landscape architecture or related disciplines
  • Ability to interpret conceptual plans, plant lists, and specifications accurately
  • High level of attention to detail in technical drawing and documentation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Scope

  • Part-time role at 20 hours per week on an ongoing basis
  • Work closely with the principal landscape architect to receive project briefs and example permit sets
  • Support additional tasks such as presentations, renders, and file management as needed
  • Collaborate remotely with a US-based landscape architecture practice in Miami
  • Adapt to varying project volumes and timelines across multiple concurrent projects
