Goal/Objective of the Position:
To help ensure the delivery of cutting-edge retail software applications that improve and enhance business efficiency and outcomes.

 Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test plans and detailed test scripts, including setting up test environments and preparing appropriate test data.
• Develop test cases and perform manual testing.
• Update existing test plans and test cases to align with new requirements.
• Define quality processes and testing standards, including test strategy, planning, documentation, analysis, and issue reporting.
• Identify, review, and execute manual and automated tests across multiple software builds within scheduled releases.
• Collaborate with developers and communicate any defects or issues identified during system testing.
• Document and review defects/issues in the designated tracking system.

Qualifications:

• 2- or 4-year degree in a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge in one or more of the following: installing, troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning, and configuring relevant technologies.
• Basic understanding of retail environments and operations.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases, Unix operating systems, and web applications preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Root cause analysis skills.
