Franchise Operations Project Manager

We are one of the world’s leading football coaching organisations for young players. Founded in the UK, we now operate internationally through a network of franchise partners who run coaching academies, football clubs, and development programmes for children. Our mission is to develop confident, creative footballers while building successful local football businesses. To support the growth of our franchise network, we are looking for a highly organised Project Manager to help ensure that key operational tasks are being completed consistently across our franchise partners.


The Role

The Franchise Operations Project Manager will work closely with our leadership team to monitor and support the execution of key activities across our franchise network. Your role is to help ensure that franchise owners stay organized, complete important tasks on time, and follow the systems we have created. You will act as a coordinator and accountability partner, helping franchisees stay on track with marketing, events, partnerships, and operational responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with business owners.


Schedule:

  • ​Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST (4 hours/day, 20 hours/week)

Responsibilities

Franchise Task Management

Track and monitor key activities across franchise locations, ensuring tasks are completed on time.

Examples include:

  • Promotional events and community activations
  • Local school partnerships
  • Social media activity
  • Local marketing initiatives
  • Coach recruitment and management
  • Programe launches and seasonal campaigns You will ensure franchisees:
  • Understand their tasks
  • Have clear deadlines
  • Receive reminders and follow-ups
  • Report completion of tasks

Event Coordination Support

Many franchises run promotional events to grow their player numbers.

You will help track preparation for these events by ensuring franchisees complete key steps such as:

  • Booking venues
  • Creating promotional materials
  • Promoting the event locally
  • Confirming staff availability
  • Capturing photos/videos from events

Marketing Execution Tracking

Support the implementation of our marketing playbook across franchises.

This includes monitoring activities such as:

  • Partnerships with local schools
  • Local community outreach
  • Social media posting
  • Distribution of flyers and posters
  • Lead generation activities You will track whether these activities are being completed and follow up when they are not.

Franchise Accountability

Help create a culture of execution and accountability within the franchise network. Responsibilities include:

  • Tracking completion of key operational tasks
  • Following up with franchisees who fall behind
  • Helping franchisees organize their priorities
  • Reporting progress back to leadership

Reporting & Systems

Use our project management tools (such as Asana or similar) to track activity across the network. Responsibilities include:

  • Updating task boards
  • Recording task completion
  • Producing simple monthly reports on execution across franchises

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organized and structured
  • Excellent at tracking multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable following up with people professionally
  • Confident communicating in English
  • Detail-oriented and reliable
  • Experienced with project management tools

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful:

  • Project management roles
  • Operations support like, account managers or project managers (1-2 yrs experience)
  • Virtual assistant roles
  • Marketing coordination
  • Working with remote teams Experience working with international teams or franchises is a bonus.

Skills

Strong candidates will have:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confidence following up with business owners
  • Experience using project management software (Asana, Trello, Monday, etc.)

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
