Web Designer & Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to support the development and maintenance of custom WordPress websites. This role focuses on translating complex Figma designs into responsive front-end code, maintaining custom templates, and making ongoing development enhancements. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, communicates clearly, and understands end-to-end project workflows.

Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive HTML and CSS from multi-layered Figma designs and integrate them into WordPress

  • Perform minor development updates and refinements on custom WordPress templates

  • Edit and develop Custom Post Types (CPTs) and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)

  • Work with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL to support website functionality


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 1–2 years of professional experience with WordPress

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Ability to clearly articulate project workflows and development processes

  • Experience working with Apache servers, cPanel/WHM, and DNS

  • Strong understanding of responsive web design using CSS

  • Previous design experience is a plus

  • Experience creating custom Elementor widgets is a plus
