Job Description:

As a Sales and Business Development Agent, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying, qualifying, and closing high-value conference management engagements with corporate organizations and academic institutions. You’ll leverage your sales expertise to build meaningful relationships with decision-makers who are seeking professional event management solutions for their most important meetings and conferences. This role offers the perfect blend of strategic business development, relationship building, and revenue generation in a fast-growing industry where your contributions will be immediately visible and highly valued.
- Responsibilities:
Identify and originate new business opportunities for conference management services - Qualify potential corporate clients hosting internal meetings and customer-facing events
- Engage with academic and scientific associations organizing conferences and congresses
- Lead the sales process from initial contact through contract closure
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify high-potential prospects
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of proven sales and business development experience
- Demonstrated track record of successfully closing deals and meeting sales targets
- Strong expertise in originating, qualifying, and closing business opportunities
- Excellent market research and analysis capabilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships
- Advanced negotiation skills with the ability to structure win-win agreements
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
Preferred: Previous sales experience in conference management, hotel sales, or the events industry - Must demonstrate a proven track record of sales performance and results
