The founder brings deep financial expertise and is building a content-rich website designed to educate and empower people with financial knowledge. This is a ground-floor opportunity to be the technical backbone of a growing educational platform.

 

You’ll be the technical architect behind a rapidly growing personal finance education website, working directly with a passionate founder who values technical expertise. This role offers the perfect blend of one-time technical challenges and ongoing website optimization, giving you the autonomy to implement best practices while supporting meaningful educational content that will impact thousands of readers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain WordPress website using Astra theme and optimize performance
• Implement and configure plugins to enhance site functionality and user experience
• Design and integrate financial calculators and interactive tools for user engagement
• Set up comprehensive Google SEO optimization and tracking systems
• Configure and manage Google AdSense integration for monetization
• Automate social media posting of articles and news content across platforms
• Establish robust website backup protocols and security maintenance procedures
• Handle hosting-related technical issues and performance optimization
• Execute ongoing website improvements and feature additions as the business scales
• Integrate RSS feeds for news content and manage content organization systems

 

Requirements:

• Expert-level WordPress knowledge with proven track record of complex site management
• Basic coding skills for customizations, integrations, and troubleshooting
• Experience with WordPress plugins, theme customization, and performance optimization
• Strong knowledge of SEO implementation, Google Analytics, and tracking setup
• Familiarity with Google AdSense configuration and online advertising platforms
• Social media management capabilities and automation tool experience
• Understanding of website security protocols, backup procedures, and hosting environments
• Bonus if you have experience with financial websites or calculator integrations
• It helps if you’re comfortable working independently and managing technical projects with minimal oversight
