As a Cold Caller/Appointment Setter, you’ll be the driving force behind our client’s expansion in the building trades sector. Your role is crucial in connecting contractors with cost-saving opportunities that can significantly impact their bottom line. You’ll engage with decision-makers, introduce them to our client’s value proposition, and guide them through a streamlined account activation process. This position offers a unique blend of sales, customer service, and industry education, making it ideal for those who thrive on building relationships and delivering tangible value to businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to contractors and facility service companies
  • Educate potential clients on cost-saving programs with major suppliers like Home Depot and Lowe’s
  • Guide contractors through account activation or creation to access exclusive discounts and services
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within target companies
  • Deliver compelling pitches using provided scripts while maintaining natural conversation flow
  • Track call metrics and account activations, contributing to monthly performance reports
  • Overcome objections with resilience and address client concerns effectively
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine scripts and improve conversion rates
  • Participate in regular training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
  • Contribute insights for developing best practices in client engagement and account activation

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with a clear, professional phone manner
  • Proven track record in B2B cold calling or appointment setting
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp and articulate building trades industry concepts
  • Strong listening skills to tailor pitches to individual client needs
  • Resilient and positive attitude when handling rejections
