Sales Development Representative

Schedule: 

  • Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (with 1-hour unpaid break)
  • 40 hours per week
  • Client time zone: GMT (United Kingdom)

 

Job Description: 

You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our client’s advisory team has accurate information before they begin helping families with their life insurance needs. This isn’t about sales pressure or cold calling – you’ll be working with people who have already shown interest in getting their policies reviewed. Your job is to verify key details so the advisory team can provide the best possible service from the very first conversation. You’ll follow clear scripts and processes, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your communication skills while contributing to a process that genuinely helps families secure their financial future.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contact leads monthly via phone to verify insurance provider information
  • Follow provided scripts and flow charts to handle client responses professionally
  • Update lead database with accurate provider details to ensure data quality
  • Handle basic questions and objections using established guidance materials
  • Maintain detailed records of all contact attempts and outcomes
  • Collaborate with the advisory team to ensure seamless lead handoffs
  • Work efficiently through high-volume calling while maintaining attention to detail
  • Support the team’s growth by ensuring accurate data for successful client conversations

 

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone presence
  • Ability to follow scripts while maintaining natural, friendly conversation flow
  • Excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry and verification
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls in a structured environment
  • Basic computer skills for database management and record keeping
  • Bonus if you have experience in financial services or insurance
  • It helps if you’re familiar with CRM systems or lead management tools
