Overview:
You’ll play a crucial role in driving business growth for an established roofing contractor by conducting strategic outbound calls to residential prospects. This is your opportunity to work directly with a seasoned business owner who knows the industry inside and out, while developing your skills in a supportive remote environment. The split-shift schedule is designed to maximize homeowner contact rates, ensuring every call contributes to meaningful business results in the essential home improvement sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to residential prospects to schedule appointments for experienced sales representatives
  • Follow company-provided call scripts and proven objection-handling procedures refined over 30 years of industry experience.
  • Input and manage prospect information using the company’s JobNimbus CRM system.
  • Generate and qualify leads specifically for roofing services in the Atlanta market area.
  • Maintain high call quality standards and adhere to professional communication guidelines.
  • Work strategically timed split shifts (morning and evening) to optimize homeowner contact rates.
  • Participate in direct training sessions with the business owner to learn company processes and sales techniques.
  • Collaborate on lead generation strategies and provide feedback on prospect qualification improvements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in outbound calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting (home improvement industry experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of residential calling best practices and compliance regulations for home improvement services
  • Ability to work the split-shift schedule (9 AM–1 PM and 4 PM–8 PM Eastern Standard Time).
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional phone presence.
  • Experience with CRM systems and web-based phone software platforms.
  • Ability to follow scripts while maintaining a natural and engaging conversation flow.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with roofing or home improvement industry terminology.
  • Helpful: Experience with lead qualification and appointment-setting performance metrics.
