Business Development Representative

Schedule: 

  • Part-time (20+ hours per week) Flexible schedule within 9 AM - 5 PM - PST

Client Overview: Drive business growth for an established commercial window tinting company that serves the construction and automotive industries. This referral-based business works with general contractors, architects, builders, and project managers on high-value commercial projects. You’ll be targeting a lucrative market where securing vendor partnerships leads to consistent, recurring business opportunities.

Job Overview: You’ll build relationships with key decision-makers in the commercial construction industry to secure valuable vendor partnerships and referral opportunities. This role focuses on getting placed on architect and contractor preferred vendor lists, which provides high-value, recurring business. You’ll be the growth engine for a company that’s already established but ready to expand its market reach through strategic relationship building.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct targeted outbound cold calling to general contractors, architects, builders, and project managers
  • Research and identify high-potential prospects in the commercial construction industry
  • Qualify prospects and assess their current window tinting vendor relationships
  • Build strategic relationships to secure placement on vendor and preferred contractor lists
  • Generate qualified leads and business development opportunities through proactive outreach
  • Maintain organized prospect databases and customer relationship records
  • Follow up on referral opportunities and warm leads from existing network
  • Develop territory plans for systematic market penetration

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales or business development experience with proven results
  • Strong cold calling and outbound prospecting skills with high activity levels
  • Experience in construction, commercial services, or related industries preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated track record in lead generation and pipeline building
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes
  • Bonus if you have experience selling to architects, contractors, or construction professionals. It helps if you understand commercial construction project workflows
