Outbound Sales Assistant ( Insurance Trucking Industry)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (Los Angeles, CA)

The company processes over 1,000 fresh leads daily through an automated system that captures new DOT filings in real time. You’ll be part of a high-volume operation with a clear growth trajectory and significant scaling potential.
You’ll play a crucial role in connecting trucking companies with essential insurance coverage while working with a steady stream of fresh, qualified leads. This is not cold prospecting—you’ll be calling companies that just filed for their DOT numbers and need insurance immediately. You’ll follow proven scripts and processes while earning competitive hourly rates plus performance bonuses. As the company continues to scale rapidly, you'll have opportunities to advance into team leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound calls to trucking companies using provided lead lists (approximately 25 calls per hour)
- Copy and paste DOT numbers from lead sheets into government websites for verification
- Follow provided scripts to qualify prospects and handle objections professionally
- Set qualified appointments for the sales team and meet booking targets
- Maintain consistent call volume and activity throughout each shift
- Track and report key performance indicators, including calls made and appointments set
- Use Google Sheets and simple web-based tools for lead management
- Achieve minimum performance targets of 2 qualified appointments per 100 calls, with expectations to scale to 4–5 per 100
Requirements
- Strong English communication skills for phone-based sales conversations
- Experience in cold calling and appointment setting preferred
- Ability to follow scripts while keeping conversations natural and engaging
- Comfortable working in a high-volume calling environment and handling rejection
- Basic computer skills for navigating Google Sheets and web-based tools
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Bonus: Experience in the insurance or trucking industry
- Helpful: Familiarity with DOT regulations or commercial vehicle requirements
