Appointment Setter & Lead Generation Specialist

Schedule: 4 hours daily during Australian business hours (9 AM – 5 PM AEST)

Over the next 3–4 months, the business is transitioning from organic referrals to structured sales outreach aimed at expanding its small business IT support into the medium-enterprise market. This is a high-impact role where your work directly fuels the company’s evolution.

 

As the Appointment Setter, you will lead the company’s shift from passive inbound growth to active lead generation. You will manage the full appointment-setting process—identifying potential clients, conducting outbound calls, handling initial technical inquiries, and booking qualified meetings for the business owner. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is tech-savvy, confident on the phone, and excited to drive measurable growth for a company undergoing strategic expansion.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calling campaigns to targeted small-to-medium business prospects
  • Generate and qualify leads using channels beyond existing email campaigns
  • Address basic technical questions around IT support services, troubleshooting, and infrastructure
  • Set highly qualified appointments for the business owner to close new business
  • Manage prospect communication, lead nurturing, and follow-up activities
  • Support the company’s shift from referral-based growth to structured sales processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of lead interactions and appointment outcomes in the CRM
  • Collaborate on targeting strategies for key industries and business segments

 

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of successful appointment setting and lead generation experience
  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to discuss basic IT concepts confidently
  • Excellent phone presence and comfort with cold outreach
  • Experience using CRM platforms and lead management systems
  • Understanding of B2B sales processes, especially in service-based industries
  • Bonus: Experience in IT services or tech support environments
