Cold Caller & Appointment Setter – Marketing Agency

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
  • part-time (20 hours per week) option available with potential to scale to full-time
  • Client Timezone: Eastern Time (Michigan)

Job Description

You’ll be the first point of contact with potential clients, playing a crucial role in this marketing agency’s growth trajectory. Working with pre-generated leads and proven scripts, you’ll book appointments with business owners who need marketing support. Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound cold calls to pre-qualified leads using provided scripts and processes
  • Set appointments with qualified prospects and direct them to the business owner
  • Send cold emails to prospects as part of the comprehensive outreach strategy
  • Follow up on leads using established spreadsheet tracking system
  • Execute the complete lead-to-appointment conversion process according to proven procedures
  • Report on call metrics, appointment booking success rates, and lead progression
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and outcomes
  • Collaborate directly with the founder on daily operations and performance optimization

 

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in appointment setting, cold calling, or outbound sales roles
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone presence
  • Ability to follow scripts while maintaining natural, engaging conversation flow
  • Experience with lead management, tracking systems, and CRM processes
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Comfortable working in Eastern Standard Time timezone
  • Bonus if you have experience in marketing or lead generation industries
  • It helps if you’re familiar with spreadsheet-based tracking and reporting systems
