Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer and 3D Rendering Specialist to take ownership of the full design cycle from initial concept through to submission-ready drawings. In this role, you will work closely with operations leadership to produce precise construction drawings, execute fast design revisions, and deliver creative solutions that meet strict regional compliance standards.

Schedule: Flexible schedule within Canadian Eastern Timezone business hours; Full-time role

Responsibilities:  

• Produce detailed construction drawings and 3D renderings using Revit and AutoCAD to support project submissions.
• Execute design revisions promptly to ensure rapid turnaround on client change requests.
• Source and select appropriate materials and finishes from Canadian and American vendor websites to complement design concepts.
• Ensure all drawings comply with the Ontario Building Code, including barrier-free path and universal washroom requirements.
• Participate in client-facing Zoom meetings to present design concepts and provide professional input.
• Deliver creative interior and exterior design solutions that align with project scope and client vision.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with a strong portfolio of construction-related design work.
• Must be based in or near the client's timezone for work schedule alignment
• Familiarity with North American building codes and compliance standards.
• Strong creative eye for material selection, spatial design, and 3D rendering.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professional presentation skills suitable for client-facing interactions.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working directly with North American architecture or construction firms.
• Background in healthcare or commercial franchise buildouts.
