Overview
Our client is looking for a creative Video Editor to join a rapidly growing UK-based social media agency during an exciting expansion phase. In this role, you will work closely with the founder to edit authentic, short-form social media content that aligns with established brand guidelines while bringing your own artistic flair. Schedule
Flexible (Approximately 16 hours per month organized in bi-weekly blocks) | Client Timezone: United Kingdom (GMT)

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content for social media platforms on a bi-weekly schedule
• Maintain consistency with the agency's established editing style and brand voice
• Work with raw video files provided through shared folders to create polished final products
• Adapt your editing techniques to align with the agency's creative direction while adding your own creative touch
• Deliver high-quality edits that prioritize quality over speed
• Collaborate with the founder during the onboarding period to understand style preferences
• Manage approximately 16 hours of editing work per month organized in two-week blocks
• Ensure all content maintains authenticity and connects with the target audience

Requirements Must-Have Requirements:

• Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video editing work
• Proficiency with video editing software, preferably CapCut
• Ability to adapt editing style to match existing brand guidelines
• Willingness to be nurtured and coached on specific editing techniques
• Reliable internet connection and hardware capable of video editing
• Openness to feedback and style adjustments during the collaboration period

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

• Bonus if you already have experience working with social media agencies
• It helps if you have your own CapCut license or preferred editing tools
• Bonus if you can provide estimates on editing turnaround times per video
• It helps if you're comfortable with bi-weekly work blocks and flexible monthly hours
