AI Creative Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled AI Creative Designer to join our marketing and creative team. This role sits at the intersection of design, marketing, photography, filmmaking, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on creating premium visual content that supports product launches, retail marketing, social media, digital advertising, website experiences, packaging, and brand campaigns.

The ideal candidate understands that AI is a creative production tool and not a replacement for creative thinking. You have a strong foundation in visual design, branding, photography, cinematography, storytelling, and consumer behavior, allowing you to create content that is both visually compelling and strategically effective.

Your work must NOT look like AI. If it SCREAMS AI, then this is not the role for you. We are looking for someone with exceptional prompt engineering skills, deep knowledge of AI creative tools, and a strong technical understanding of AI workflows to produce media and imagery that looks authentically real, natural, and production-ready.

Working closely with the Creative Director, Marketing Team, Designers, Sales, and Digital teams, you will transform creative briefs into high-quality visual assets while helping establish scalable AI-powered creative workflows and best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

AI Creative Production

● Create high-quality and realistic AI-generated photography, illustrations, videos, motion graphics, and advertising assets for product launches, advertising, retail displays, and eCommerce.

● Create AI-powered UGC-style content optimized for paid and organic social media. ● Develop storyboards, mood boards, and creative concepts.

Prompt Engineering & AI Workflow Development

● Develop advanced prompt engineering techniques that consistently generate high-quality and consistent assets.

● Build prompt libraries, reusable templates, and standardized workflows for repeatable creative production.

Creative Direction & Art Direction

  • Translate creative briefs into compelling visual concepts.
  • Art direct AI-generated outputs to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Refine, iterate, and enhance AI-generated assets through multiple rounds of creative development.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers, and creative partners to blend AI-generated assets with traditional creative production.

 

Marketing & Retail Creative

● Create promotional assets for product launches, seasonal campaigns, retail activations, and experiential marketing.

● Design creative for but not limited to: Social Media, Paid Advertising, Website Banners, Landing Pages, Email Marketing, Product Detail Pages (PDP), Sales Presentations, Retail Point-of-Purchase (POP), Digital Signage, Trade Shows, In-Store Marketing, & Packaging Concepts

UX/UI & Digital Experience

● Collaborate with web designers and developers to create AI-assisted digital experiences. ● Create AI-generated UI concepts, mockups, and prototypes for digital campaigns and web experiences.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or equivalent professional experience.

● 3–5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, creative marketing, content production, or visual communications.

● Experience working within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail marketing, lifestyle brands, cannabis, food & beverage, beauty, apparel, or similar consumer industries.

● Strong understanding of retail merchandising and consumer marketing.

● Exceptional visual design skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence. ● Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary creative teams.

Required Technical Skills

Experience with several AI Creative Platforms such higgsfield, midjourney, veo, kling, etc

● Experience or familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Lightroom

● Experience or familiarity with Additional Creative Tools such as Figma, Blender, Cinema 4D, Spline, Rhino, or KeyShot

Photography expertise: Product Photography, Lifestyle Photography, Composition, Lighting Camera Angles, Studio Photography, Commercial Photography

Cinematography expertise:Camera Movement, Shot Composition, Storytelling, or Commercial Video Production

Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of Brand Strategy. Consumer Psychology. Retail Marketing. Shopper Marketing, Product Launch Strategy, Omnichannel Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Paid Media Creative, Conversion-Focused Design, Marketing Funnels, Customer Journey Mapping, Performance Creative

Retail Experience: strong understanding with In-Store Displays, POP Displays, Endcaps, Shelf Talkers, Window Displays, Digital Signage, Retail Merchandising, Trade Shows, Product Launches, Sales Enablement, Promotional Campaigns

Product Visualization: Experience creating Photorealistic Product Renders, Packaging Concepts, Product Mockups, 3D Visualization, Lifestyle Product Scenes, Hero Images, eCommerce Assets
