Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Video Editor (Subscription Platforms) for a long-term, part-time position (20 hours per week) with the potential to scale to full-time. Working directly with our operations lead, you will edit long-form video content and manage multi-platform distribution within a secure browser environment. This remote role offers flexible weekday hours within Pacific Standard Time (PST) alongside an established production company. Strong communication, independent problem-solving, and adherence to strict data security protocols are required.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, flexible within client business hours, PST time (20 hrs per week)

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form video content (30–40+ minute clips) into polished, publish-ready productions
• Handle large file transfers (30–50+ GB) and manage efficient download and editing workflows
• Upload and distribute finished content across multiple adult platforms
• Ensure all content meets platform-specific formatting and metadata requirements for each upload
• Maintain organized file management and content scheduling to support consistent publishing cadence

Must-Have Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in video editing, with demonstrated ability to work with 4K footage. Applications with portfolios will be prioritized.

• Hands-on experience uploading and publishing content on adult platforms (Adult platforms experience is not required, preferred only)

• Strong knowledge of SEO and search optimization relevant to the role and industry.

   

• Experience managing the full content upload and publishing process, including: (Titles, Descriptions, Keywords and tags, Categories, Thumbnails)

• Scheduling and publishing

• Strong SEO optimization skills, including the ability to create SEO-focused titles, keywords, tags, and descriptions to improve content discoverability.

• Strong thumbnail selection skills, with the ability to identify appropriate and visually effective images that can attract viewers while following platform requirements.

• Experience with tags and categories, including properly categorizing adult content based on the relevant platform, content type, and target audience.

• Experience creating trailers and previews, including the ability to identify the most engaging moments from longer videos and turn them into effective short-form previews or trailers.

• Familiarity with adult-platform workflows, including publishing, organizing, managing, and optimizing content specifically for adult-industry platforms.  (Adult platforms experience is not required, preferred only)

• Comfortable working with adult content on an ongoing basis and able to handle such content professionally and discreetly.  (Adult platforms experience is not required, preferred only)

• Strong internet connection capable of efficiently handling large file downloads and uploads.

• High level of attention to detail to ensure content quality, accuracy, proper categorization, and consistency across multiple platforms.

• Strong written communication skills and fluency in English, particularly for creating accurate and engaging titles, descriptions, tags, and other written content.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple uploads and content requirements, and consistently meet deadlines.
