Job Overview

A digital marketing agency is seeking an Off-Page & Local SEO Specialist to support its portfolio of home services clients. In this full-time remote role, you will focus entirely on off-page strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization, citation building, and entity mapping across various directories and forums. You will also manage approximately 30 email profiles to handle directory verifications and ensure business information consistency across all platforms. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented SEO professional skilled in local search optimization and multi-account administration.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST with 1 hr unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Optimize and maintain Google Business Profile listings across a portfolio of 20+ home services clients
• Build and manage citations across major directories such as Yelp, Thumbtack, Houzz, and other relevant platforms
• Conduct entity mapping to identify and track brand mentions across the web, including forums like Reddit
• Monitor and respond to online mentions and threads to strengthen each client's digital presence
• Navigate multi-step directory listing and verification processes independently
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of business information across all off-page channels
• Manage approximately 30 email profiles/mailboxes in Microsoft 365 Outlook for citation-building and verification purposes
• Set up, organize, and manage multiple email profiles in Microsoft 365 Outlook as required for citation activities
• Alternatively, work with Gmail-based email profiles if experienced in setting up and managing multiple accounts for citation purposes
• Use multiple email profiles appropriately to support directory submissions, account verification, and citation management
• Keep email accounts organized and monitor them for verification emails, directory communications, and other citation-related requirements

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven experience with Google Business Profile optimization and local SEO best practices
• Strong hands-on experience with off-page SEO, local SEO, and citation building
• Familiarity with citation platforms and major business directories
• Experience managing multiple email profiles/accounts, preferably in Microsoft 365 Outlook
• Ability to work with approximately 30 email profiles for citation and directory verification purposes
• Experience with Gmail and/or Microsoft 365 is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex, multi-step processes independently
• High level of attention to detail when managing data across multiple client accounts
• Strong organizational skills to manage workload across 20+ clients simultaneously
• Ability to think outside the box and proactively resolve roadblocks
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously
