Insurance Claims Analyst

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Insurance Claims Analyst to support their team with digital intake, new file setup, and documentation management. The ideal candidate will have experience in an insurance company, claims department, or law firm handling insurance‑related matters. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong accuracy in data entry, and clear, professional written communication. The position also demands the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible within 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Process new client intakes and gather required information through digital channels.
  • Support intake operations while ensuring confidentiality and compliance in all digital workflows.
  • Create and set up new case files, ensuring all data is accurately entered into internal systems.
  • Upload, organize, and maintain digital documentation for new and pending files.
  • Track missing items and complete email follow‑ups with clients and prospects.
  • Maintain clean, accurate records and checklists for onboarding progress.
  • Prepare completed files for handoff to Case Development Team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance claims, insurance administration, personal injury, workers' compensation, property and casualty claims, or a related field.
  • Experience working in an insurance company, claims department, legal office, or law firm handling insurance claims.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data organization, filtering, reporting, and spreadsheet management.
  • Ability to manage multiple claims and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience with claims management software, CRM systems, or case management platforms is highly preferred.

Nice to have:

  • Experience providing customer support to U.S.-based clients (Preferred)
