Timekeeping Specialist

Overview
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Timekeeper to oversee and streamline their employee timekeeping processes. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing time entries, tracking regular and overtime hours, and collaborating with project teams to resolve any discrepancies. This opportunity offers a fully remote environment ideal for professionals with strong organizational skills and a background in payroll support or administrative coordination.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4-5hrs/Day  (12-5pm EST OR 1-5pm EST)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely employee timesheets and timekeeping records.
  • Review timesheets for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company and project requirements.
  • Follow up with employees and project teams to resolve missing or inaccurate time entries.
  • Track regular hours, overtime, leave, and other applicable time-related information.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of timesheet reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and administrative teams regarding timekeeping discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timekeeping documentation is properly updated and accessible.
  • Support payroll and project reporting by providing accurate timekeeping information.
  • Identify discrepancies or recurring issues and escalate them appropriately.
  • Perform other administrative and timekeeping duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in timekeeping, payroll support, administrative coordination, or a related role preferred.
  • Candidates must submit a video recording of their answers to the interview questions.
  • Achiever Assessment will be administered to candidates who pass the initial interview.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage confidential employee information professionally.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with project teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working for US/North American companies strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
