Job Description:

You will be the operational backbone of a thriving eBay store, handling everything from order fulfillment to customer communication. This role puts you at the center of daily e-commerce operations, where your attention to detail and eBay expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction and business growth. You will work independently with clear training and processes, managing the end-to-end order lifecycle while keeping customers informed and happy.

Client Overview:

Our client operates a growing eBay e-commerce store that has been successfully trading for six months. Based in the UK with international operations, they specialize in supplier sourcing and product fulfillment, serving a UK customer base with reliable service and competitive pricing.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, flexible schedule within the client’s business hours (UK Time, 20 hours per week)
• Any time zones—needed for weekends for the first 2 weeks for training purposes

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill eBay orders using company funds and process transactions through supplier platforms
• Manage order tracking requirements and ensure shipping information is updated in eBay
• Maintain an Excel order spreadsheet tracking sales, suppliers, and order details
• Respond to eBay customer messages within 24 hours regarding delivery inquiries and special requests
• Research supplier pricing and complete spreadsheets comparing product costs across multiple sources
• Identify discount codes and pricing opportunities to support product selection decisions
• Communicate professionally with UK-based customers through eBay messaging
• Update order data in simple Excel formats without complex formulas

Must Have Requirements:

• Previous experience working with eBay as a seller or managing eBay operations
• Excellent written English for customer-facing communication
• Comfortable working with Google Spreadsheets or Excel for data entry
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
• One to two years of virtual assistant or e-commerce experience

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

• Experience with supplier research or product sourcing is a strong advantage
• Occasional weekend availability is required as business needs dictate
• Prior experience with UK-based clients is highly desirable
