Social Media Content Manager - Women’s Health

Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Content Manager to manage and grow their presence on Instagram and Facebook. The ideal candidate has strong content creation skills, advanced Canva experience, and a solid understanding of organic social media growth. You will create engaging content around women's health, hormonal health, perimenopause, and menopause while maintaining a consistent brand voice and posting strategy.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, flexible within 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Eastern Time 

Responsibilities:

  • Create original social media content, including carousels, graphics, and stories.
  • Develop engaging content focused on hormonal health, perimenopause, menopause, and women's wellness.
  • Research trending and relevant topics and turn them into social media content.
  • Design professional and engaging graphics using Canva.
  • Create and maintain a consistent content calendar.
  • Manage the client's Instagram and Facebook business pages.
  • Repurpose content across both platforms to increase engagement.
  • Develop strategies to grow the Facebook and Instagram audiences organically.
  • Proactively research content ideas relevant to women's health.
  • Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the practice owner to ensure content aligns with the brand's voice and messaging.
  • Present new content ideas and recommendations.
  • Work independently while requesting approval when needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Experience or knowledge in the healthcare, wellness, or women's health industry (hormonal health, perimenopause, or menopause topics highly preferred).
  • Strong content creation skills, including carousels, graphics, and stories.
  • Advanced proficiency in Canva.
  • Experience managing both Instagram and Facebook business pages.
  • Strong understanding of organic social media growth strategies.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Creative, proactive, and able to generate new content ideas.
  • Highly organized and able to manage a content calendar independently.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Meta Business Suite and Facebook/Instagram advertising is a plus.
  • Experience growing social media accounts from the early stages is a plus.
