Job Overview:
We are looking for a Social Media Assistant who will be responsible for managing day-to-day digital interactions, publishing pre-approved content, and moderating our social channels and private Facebook Groups. Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will maintain a responsive, highly professional online presence by deploying approved canned responses, enforcing community standards, and tracking engagement metrics.
Note: This position is strictly execution-based. It does not involve social strategy creation, legal content drafting, lead qualification, or client intake functions.
Schedule: Remote, Full Time | Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM CST (TX Time)
Responsibilities:
- Approved Content Publishing: Publish pre-approved short-form videos, captions, and posts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and private Facebook Groups according to the assigned posting schedule and video rotation; log all published links in the internal tracking sheet.
- Facebook Group Moderation: Serve as the primary moderator for the private Facebook Groups; welcome new members using approved templates, maintain group order, remove spam, and prevent members from posting private case details publicly.
- Comment & Message Monitoring: Continuously monitor public posts, boosted campaigns, direct messages, and group comments across all platforms for questions, positive feedback, and general engagement.
- Canned Response Execution: Respond to inquiries exclusively using pre-approved canned scripts (e.g., disclaimers, resource links, general acknowledgments); ensure no unapproved or improvised legal explanations are provided.
- Issue Escalation: Immediately flag and escalate negative, hostile, urgent, or sensitive legal inquiries to the Digital Marketing Manager for direction.
- Tracking & Record Keeping: Maintain an accurate daily comment/engagement tracker and log recurring user questions to inform future content planning.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in social media community management, online moderation, or digital customer support.
- Fluency with Facebook (including Facebook Groups and Messenger), Instagram, and TikTok platforms and moderation tools.
- Exceptional written English skills with a professional, empathetic communication style and flawless grammar.
- Strict commitment to following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and using approved language without improvising.
- Strong organizational habits with experience maintaining accuracy in tracking spreadsheets and logs.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently in a remote environment.
- Bonus: Previous experience in a legal, healthcare, or compliance-heavy industry.
- Nice to have: Hands-on experience moderating private, high-engagement Facebook Groups.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, or project management software.
Independent Contractor Perks:
- Immediate hiring.
- Permanent work from home.
Note:
- Please click the "Apply" button to complete your application, including the assessment questions, technical check, and voice recording. Your hourly pay rate will be established based on your performance in the application process; submissions with all requirements fulfilled will receive priority review.
