About the Role
A construction and engineering group is seeking a part-time B2B Marketing Strategist to lead its overall marketing strategy and lead generation efforts. In this remote role, you will coordinate with internal web developers, external PPC/SEO agencies, and a junior social media team member to drive commercial growth. You will also manage the HubSpot CRM, oversee content creation, deliver targeted email campaigns, and conduct monthly analytics reporting. This position is ideal for a commercially minded marketing generalist who thrives on translating data into quality sales enquiries.

Lead Generation & Performance
- Own marketing's contribution to lead generation across paid, organic, social, email, and content.

SEO & PPC Oversight
- Monitor external specialists' strategy and performance.
- Understand Google Ads/PPC, keyword strategy, and reporting.
- Align SEO with marketing strategy and coordinate internal content accordingly.
Social Media
- Own strategy, content calendar, and brand standards.
- Support and train a junior team member, then hand over routine execution while retaining strategic oversight.
Content Creation
- Produce case studies, brochures, presentations, tenders, email content, social posts, and technical/sector-specific materials.
- Ensure all content is professional, commercially relevant, and on-brand.
- Provide practical design support as needed.
Email Marketing
- Plan and deliver targeted campaigns through HubSpot (updates, case studies, technical content, news).
- Manage segmentation, lists, and monitor open/click rates, enquiries, and opportunities.
Sales & Business Development Support
- Work closely with Sales/Estimating teams to develop campaigns and materials.
- Support tenders, bids, presentations, and repeat business generation.
Brand Management
- Maintain consistency across all materials and act as the brand control point.

- Prepare monthly reports covering website, leads, conversions, spend, ROI, PPC/SEO, social, email, and CRM pipeline.
- Provide clear recommendations and actions for the following month.
Competitor & Market Analysis
- Conduct structured competitor reviews every six weeks (services, web, ads, SEO, social, recruitment).
- Identify threats, gaps, and growth opportunities.
