Social Media Specialist — Property Inspection Services
Part-Time | Remote | Worldwide

About the Role

A specialist Australian property inspection company — providing pre-purchase plumbing inspections to help buyers make informed decisions — is looking for a creative and organised Social Media Specialist to elevate their online presence. You'll be responsible for building a consistent, professional brand voice across social platforms while creating content that educates, engages, and converts.

What You'll Be Doing

Content Creation

  • Create visually striking, on-brand content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter that reflects the company's professional image and industry expertise
  • Design tile-based visuals incorporating the company logo and relevant stock imagery — including sourcing and managing appropriate imagery for each piece of content
  • Craft engaging, informative captions using AI-assisted tools including ChatGPT, ensuring content is both captivating and professionally presented
  • Produce and edit short video clips using CapCut Pro — including subtitles and branding elements — to showcase services dynamically

Platform & Community Management

  • Manage a consistent posting schedule across all platforms to maximise engagement and reach
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a professional and timely manner
  • Use social media management tools to schedule content and track performance
  • Exercise discretion and professionalism at all times — particularly when handling client-related information or property details

Strategy & Reporting

  • Analyse social media analytics and prepare weekly performance reports with insights and recommendations
  • Stay across social media trends and best practices, adapting strategy to leverage new opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the internal team to ensure all content aligns with company values, messaging, and client confidentiality standards

Tools You'll Be Working With

Core: Canva, CapCut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, ChatGPT, Asana, Slack, Monday.com, Loom, ActiveCampaign, WordPress, Wix, Zoho, Atlassian

What We're Looking For

  • Proven social media management experience with a strong content portfolio
  • Proficient in Canva and Adobe Photoshop for graphic design
  • Comfortable sourcing stock imagery and managing visual assets across multiple content pieces
  • Comfortable producing and editing short-form video content using CapCut Pro or similar
  • Strong written English — you can write captions that are engaging, professional, and on-brand
  • Organised and self-directed with the ability to manage a consistent content calendar independently
  • Discreet and professional — able to handle client information with care
  • Analytical — you track what's working and adjust accordingly
  • Experience with social media scheduling and performance reporting tools
  • Familiarity with the property, construction, or trades industry a bonus

Engagement Details

  • Part-time, flexible scheduling
  • Remote
