Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to drive supply chain efficiency by managing both domestic and export shipping workflows. This position offers the opportunity to serve as the vital link between carriers, clients, and production managers to ensure flawless, on-time deliveries. Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST, with 30 minutes unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Manage the schedule efficiently to maximize workflow
• Process, prepare, file, and send outbound truck carrier export documents
• Release railcar shipments to customers and file customs paperwork
• Schedule and book outbound loads with carriers
• Maintain freight cost listing
• Schedule inbound loads with the plant
• Data entry of quality results from inbound loads, ticket data, production data, and pre-shipment samples into the system
• Delivery monitoring of each shipment to the customer’s warehouse
• Update the operational system for changes in schedules based on customers' needs
• Communicate regularly with clients, suppliers, and Production Managers to ensure shipments are on time
• Participate in team calls on production and shipping

Requirements

• Digital technology skills and ability to update detailed records
• Exceptional customer service management skills
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills (majority of communication is through email)
• Excellent time management skills
