Website & Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a proactive and highly organized marketing professional to support the day-to-day execution of their digital marketing initiatives. This is an execution-focused role that works closely with senior leadership and the creative team to coordinate campaigns, manage website content, oversee social media activities, support promotional initiatives, and ensure marketing projects are delivered on time.

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule during client business hours in Sydney, Australia (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Coordination: Support the execution of the overall marketing plan, coordinate projects with internal teams and external vendors, and keep marketing campaigns, content, and promotional activities organized and on schedule. Monitor project timelines and follow up on deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Website Content Management: Publish, update, and maintain website content using the company's content management system (CMS). Review website pages for accuracy, formatting, functionality, and user experience, and coordinate multilingual website content updates when required.
  • Social Media Management: Schedule and publish content across various social media platforms. Assist with community engagement by monitoring interactions and responding where appropriate, tracking social media performance to provide recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Campaigns & Promotions: Assist in planning, coordinating, and launching marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Update campaign landing pages and promotional materials while coordinating creative assets and supporting marketing content.
  • Content Coordination: Coordinate the production of educational resources, articles, and short-form video content. Maintain content calendars and assist with blog articles, website copy, newsletters, and company announcements.
  • Public Relations: Coordinate press releases and media distribution, maintain public relations calendars and announcement schedules, and support industry award submissions and media opportunities.
  • General Marketing Support: Organize and maintain marketing assets, documentation, and shared files. Conduct competitor and market research, test new website features before release to report bugs, and assist with ad hoc marketing projects as required.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Digital Marketing, Marketing Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Technical & Design Tools: Experience managing website content using CMS platforms. Proficiency in Canva and Figma, alongside experience using Meta Business Suite.
  • Marketing & Analytics Tools: Working knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Google Workspace.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment with strong multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Digital Knowledge: Good understanding of SEO principles, digital marketing, website best practices, and comfort using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and content creation.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within financial services or fintech is advantageous.
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.
  • Experience coordinating multilingual content.
