Overview

Our client is looking for a creative and proactive Content Creator & Digital Marketing Assistant to lead their content strategy and drive consumer traffic to their platform. They are an innovative, Australian-based proptech startup bridging the gap between homebuyers and builders through a cutting-edge construction cost calculator. In this role, you will be responsible for building brand awareness from the ground up, creating high-impact social media content, and supporting their expansion into new real estate verticals as they scale from MVP to full market traction. This is a rare opportunity to collaborate directly with the founding team and actively shape a disruptive brand's digital identity in the Australian market.

Schedule:

  • Part-time - 20h per week - flexible within AEST business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
  • Create compelling, scroll-stopping video and graphic content tailored to the Australian real estate audience
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar and ensure brand consistency across all platforms
  • Monitor content performance metrics and proactively recommend strategy adjustments to improve engagement
  • Support paid advertising efforts on Meta and Google by producing high-quality creatives for testing
  • Engage with the online community by responding to comments and messages to build audience trust
  • Collaborate directly with founders to refine messaging and positioning for the Australian market

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing with a strong portfolio in content creation (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Proven ability to produce engaging short-form video content and visual assets for social media
  • Familiarity with running or supporting paid ad campaigns on Meta and Google platforms is a bonus but not required
  • Strong written and visual communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest strategies and improvements independently
  • Bonus if you have experience working with startups or building brand presence from scratch
  • It helps if you have experience in the Australian real estate or construction sectors
