Our client is looking for a creative, detailed-oriented, and proactive E-commerce Creative Designer to drive high-performing visual campaigns and brand growth. In this role, you will take creative ownership over the brand's visual output, translating concepts into high-converting Meta ad creatives and highly engaging short-form video content. You will work closely with the business owners to maintain a highly polished, cohesive visual identity across all digital touchpoints. This position is perfect for an execution-focused designer who excels at taking initiative, managing multiple deadlines independently, and executing a premium brand aesthetic.

Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM AEST (20 hours per week)
Note: Flexible working hours during Heidelberg, VIC business hours, with the capacity to scale up hours during major sales events.
Responsibilities
- Ad & Video Creative: Design high-converting, high-quality ad creatives for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns that align with current performance marketing best practices.
- Short-Form Video Production: Produce and edit highly engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) featuring strong visual hooks, smooth transitions, and trending formats.
- UGC & Creative Direction: Create authentic, UGC-style video content and provide clear guidelines and creative direction for video shoots.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain strict brand consistency across all active channels, including paid Meta ads, organic social media, website banners, and email marketing (EDMs).
- Campaign Leadership: Lead the concept development and asset creation for four major annual sales campaigns with minimal direction.
- Digital Design Assets: Design polished email marketing layouts and organic social assets that strictly adhere to established brand guidelines.
- Collaborative Concepting: Collaborate directly with the business owners to interpret creative briefs, proactively pitching fresh, strategic design concepts.
- Performance Analysis: Provide ongoing creative direction and feedback based on e-commerce industry trends and performance data.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: Proven graphic design and video editing experience specifically within an e-commerce, retail, or agency environment.
- Portfolio Required: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing high-performing ad creatives, engaging short-form video edits, and cohesive campaign assets.
- Technical Skills: Core graphic design capabilities with hands-on expertise in industry-standard design tools (creative, execution-focused role—not reliant on AI generation).
- Ad Strategy Knowledge: Deep understanding of Meta advertising best practices, including the strategic placement of hooks, social proof, and customer testimonials.
- Work Ethic: Highly self-directed with the ability to take the initiative on a brief, manage multiple asset deadlines independently, and maintain meticulous attention to visual detail.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Shopify for updating theme assets and directly uploading web banners (Preferred).
