US Property Management Coordinator

Job Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced US Property Management Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a growing long-term residential rental portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on property management experience who can confidently communicate with tenants, coordinate maintenance, manage leasing activities, and keep operations running smoothly with minimal supervision.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, Flexible 4 hours per day between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to tenant maintenance requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution with vendors and contractors.
  • Coordinate repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance with service providers.
  • Advertise available rental properties across listing platforms to minimize vacancy periods.
  • Follow up with prospective tenants, schedule property viewings, and assist throughout the leasing process.
  • Handle tenant communications, including rent payment follow-ups, lease-related inquiries, notices, and general support.
  • Maintain accurate property, tenant, and maintenance records using the client's property management software.
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks to support the property management team.

Requirements

  • Previous hands-on experience in property management is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have managed long-term residential rental portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of leasing processes, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and property operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple properties, tenants, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail when handling maintenance requests, lease documentation, rent tracking, and tenant communications.
  • Experience using property management software or CRMs is highly preferred.
