Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Shopify E-commerce Web Developer to lead a comprehensive global website reconstruction and consolidation project. In this role, you will play a critical part in aligning the digital store infrastructure with upcoming product launches and retail partnerships. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in Shopify architecture, multi-market global storefront setup, and conversion optimization, enabling them to transform regional websites into a single, high-performing global platform with minimal supervision.

Schedule

• Working hours are flexible, with an expectation to coordinate daily within standard Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Storefront Consolidation: Merge the existing Australian and US Shopify websites into a single unified global storefront capable of multi-region fulfillment.
• UX/UI Redesign: Redesign and modernize the existing Shopify site to reflect current brand standards and improve the overall user experience.
• Global Logistics Configuration: Configure international shipping rules, multi-currency localization, and backend fulfillment settings to seamlessly support global distribution.
• Marketing Infrastructure Integration: Integrate email marketing platforms to support customer re-engagement pipelines and new product launch campaigns.
• Landing Page Optimization: Build and optimize campaign-specific landing pages for seasonal promotions and high-visibility collections (such as the upcoming Bluey collection).

Requirements

• Shopify Development Footprint: Proven professional experience with Shopify store development, complex site migrations, and advanced multi-market configurations.
• E-commerce Literacy: Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including conversion rate optimization (CRO) and technical site performance/speed tuning.
• Ecosystem Integration: Demonstrated experience integrating third-party marketing, analytics, and automation tools within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Operational Habits: High level of attention to detail with the ability to deliver polished, visually flawless, and brand-consistent digital assets.
• Autonomy: Proven capability to work completely independently and manage complex technical tasks with minimal direct supervision.
