Job Overview

Our client is seeking an organized and creative Digital Content & Social Media Specialist to manage, optimize, and grow their online presence. In this part-time remote role, you will focus on building brand engagement for an amusement and entertainment business, with the exciting potential to expand your scope to support a global laser tag equipment brand. Working with raw content provided directly by the client, you will be responsible for formatting, optimizing, scheduling, and publishing polished posts across core social platforms while ensuring absolute brand consistency.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, Hours Flexible (20 hours per week)

Note: This position requires a minimum of 2 hours of daily operational overlap during the Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) afternoon window.

Responsibilities

  • Content Optimization & Publishing: Format, optimize, and schedule engaging social media posts on Facebook and Instagram using raw media and text assets provided by the client.
  • Brand Governance: Maintain a highly consistent brand voice, visual tone, and corporate message across all social media footprints.
  • Calendar Management: Develop and manage a structured social media content calendar aligned with shifting business goals, seasonal events, and specific marketing promotions.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor active social channels and respond promptly to direct audience interactions, comments, and direct messages.
  • Reporting & Collaboration: Provide regular updates and metric progress reports on social media activity and engagement levels; participate in regular daily or weekly alignment check-ins with the client.

Requirements

  • Social Media Footprint: Proven professional experience in social media management, specifically tailored for small businesses or the entertainment/hospitality sector.
  • Linguistic Standard: Strong written English communication skills with deep attention to linguistic tone, nuance, and distinctive brand voice.
  • Technical Literacy: Full familiarity with native platform tools, modern content scheduling software, and organic social media best practices.
  • Operational Habits: High level of attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to visual presentation.
  • Autonomy: Proven ability to manage publishing queues independently with minimal direct daily supervision.
