About the Role

This is your chance to take full ownership of paid social for a portfolio of clients, without the grind of full-time agency hours. You'll lead strategy, execution, creative development and optimisation across Meta platforms, working part-time on a contract basis with genuine flexibility.

It's a hands-on role for someone who loves both the numbers and the creative. You'll work directly with clients, collaborate with our content and design teams, and be the person everyone trusts to make paid social perform.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Communication

  • Build paid social strategies and campaign roadmaps aligned to client briefs, working closely with our commercial team.
  • Work directly with clients to understand objectives, translate insights into actions, and present results with clarity and confidence.
  • Deliver proactive, data-driven recommendations that drive performance and growth over time.

Paid Social Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute and optimise paid campaigns across Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Manage campaign structures, audience segmentation, bidding strategies and creative variations to improve ROI.
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, trends and algorithm updates to keep campaigns competitive.

Creative Development & Copywriting

  • Design or direct paid social creatives using Canva or similar tools.
  • Write high-performing ad copy and organic captions aligned with client brand tone and campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with designers, videographers and content producers to build creative that converts.

Reporting & Performance Optimisation

  • Analyse and report on campaign performance monthly, clearly articulating strategy, outcomes and opportunities.
  • Track metrics and lead ongoing optimisations to improve reach, CTR, CPC, CPA and ROAS.
  • Use Meta Ads Manager and (where relevant) Google Ads to generate insights and benchmarks.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–6+ years' experience running and optimising paid social campaigns, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and a strong grasp of audience targeting, A/B testing, bidding strategies and performance metrics.
  • Solid understanding of social media best practices and the broader digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Experience designing creatives in Canva, Figma or Adobe Suite.
  • Strong copywriting skills tailored to ad performance and engagement.
  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence presenting data-driven insights to clients.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple campaigns and clients simultaneously on a part-time basis.
  • Comfortable working independently and delivering within agreed contract hours.
  • (Bonus) Experience with Google Ads and PPC platforms.
