Job Overview

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Appointment Setter to join their growing team. In this role, you will focus on turning warm digital marketing leads into qualified sales appointments for an Australian-based solar energy sales team, helping to build a foundational framework for future growth.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Contact and engage warm leads generated through digital marketing campaigns to schedule qualified sales appointments
• Develop and maintain strong product knowledge of solar energy solutions to confidently address prospect inquiries
• Handle common objections around pricing, value, and appointment logistics to increase conversion rates
• Ensure both decision-makers are confirmed for each booked appointment to maximize sales team effectiveness
• Track and manage lead activity and appointment outcomes in Google Sheets
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to align on appointment quality standards and feedback
• Contribute to refining objection-handling scripts and appointment-setting processes

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or outbound sales
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
• Demonstrated ability to learn and articulate technical or industry-specific product information
• High level of attention to detail when managing lead data and scheduling
• Ability to work independently and maintain consistent performance with minimal supervision
• Experience using Google Sheets or similar tools for tracking and reporting
• Familiarity or willingness to learn CRM tools, as there is a future support transition of lead management workflows into Zoho CRM
