Job Overview

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Pest Control Administrative Coordinator to support administrative functions, customer communications, and marketing activities for a growing pest control business. This is a full-time remote position that requires excellent communication skills to handle inbound and outbound customer calls while maintaining responsive email management with a strict one-hour response time KPI. The ideal candidate will seamlessly balance core administrative duties with creative marketing support during available times to maximize productivity across a 40-hour work week.

Client Overview

Our client operates a pest control company based in Australia. They are seeking to expand their administrative capacity to support growing operational and customer service needs.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEST (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & Coordination: Manage scheduling and precise calendar coordination for day-to-day business operations.
  • Compliance & Records: Handle compliance administration tasks and maintain meticulously updated records.
  • Email Management: Manage email correspondence with strict adherence to a one-hour response time KPI.
  • Customer Relations: Conduct inbound and outbound customer calls with professional, empathetic communication.
  • Marketing Support: Provide marketing and advertising support, including social media post scheduling and content calendar maintenance.
  • General Administration: Execute general back-office administrative functions to support daily business operations.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in administrative roles with dedicated customer service responsibilities.
  • Linguistic Standard: Excellent verbal and conversational communication skills for phone-based customer interactions.
  • Remote Operational Setup: Proven ability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace free from background noise and distractions.
  • Administrative Mastery: Proven experience managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously, including email management, scheduling, and compliance documentation.
  • Marketing Coordination: Capability to provide hands-on marketing support, such as social media scheduling and content coordination.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within pest control or service-based industries is preferred.
  • Professional background as a junior marketer with administrative capabilities is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with Xero accounting software for basic invoicing tasks is a plus.
