Our client is looking for a motivated and resilient B2B Outbound Appointment Setter to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible for making high-volume outbound calls to prospective merchants, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments for the sales team. Schedule

• Monday - Friday, flexible schedule during client business hours (EST) (20 work hours per week)

• Must be available to work during U.S. business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM), supporting multiple time zones from Eastern to Pacific

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound cold calls using company-provided merchant lists, scripts, and dialing systems
• Qualify prospects and schedule appointments for sales representatives across multiple U.S. time zones
• Clearly communicate the value of our POS and credit card processing solutions to prospective merchants
• Accurately document call outcomes, appointment details, and prospect information within the company's calling system
• Follow up with prospects as needed to confirm and secure scheduled appointments
• Consistently meet daily call volume, productivity, and quality expectations
• Support multiple sales representatives by maintaining a steady pipeline of qualified appointments
• This role is focused exclusively on appointment setting—no sales closing responsibilities
• Outbound calls will be made to company-generated merchant lists targeting businesses impacted by recent EBT regulation changes

Requirements

• Previous experience in outbound cold calling, appointment setting, or a similar sales development role
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a confident, professional, and engaging phone presence
• Ability to follow scripts while maintaining a natural and conversational approach
• Strong resilience and a positive attitude when handling objections and rejection
• Close attention to detail when recording call activity and scheduling appointments
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
