French Bilingual Property Management Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized French Bilingual Property Management Assistant to manage day-to-day administrative and tenant-facing operations for a Canadian real estate firm overseeing residential assets across Ontario and Quebec. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, vendor coordination, and document management, bridging communication between English and French-speaking tenants to maintain high occupancy and seamless leasing workflows. It is the perfect opportunity for an independent, task-oriented professional with direct experience in Canadian provincial regulations to thrive in a high-impact environment.
Schedule:
- Part-time, 20 hours per week. Flexible scheduling available between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM (EST), seven days a week.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound tenant inquiries with professional responses in English and French
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance vendors and contractors for repairs
- Prepare and manage lease agreements and formal tenant correspondence
- Maintain organized digital property records and administrative filings
- Execute daily email management and proactive follow-ups on tenant requests
- Support property listing activities and marketing administration
- Ensure compliance with provincial property management regulations
- Liaise between the property owner and stakeholders to prioritize tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management specifically within Ontario or Quebec
- Native or near-native fluency in English and French (written and spoken)
- Strong understanding of provincial residential tenancy regulations
- High attention to detail in handling lease documentation and records
- Proficiency in managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously
- Bonus if you have experience with property management software platforms
- It helps if you have previous experience in maintenance coordination
