Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Social Media & Local SEO Manager to lead and execute digital marketing initiatives for a fast-growing food and beverage brand. This role is ideal for a creative and data-driven marketer who can build brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and implement strategies that increase online visibility and foot traffic.

The successful candidate will manage social media platforms, create engaging content, oversee SEO initiatives, and optimize digital campaigns to strengthen the brand's presence across multiple channels.

Client Overview

Our client is a growing food and beverage business in Sydney specializing in plant-based dining experiences. As part of an established hospitality network, the business is focused on delivering innovative vegan offerings while building a strong digital presence and community engagement. The company is passionate about sustainability, customer experience, and creating memorable dining experiences both online and offline.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, flexible during business hours AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals
  • Manage and grow the brand’s presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
  • Create engaging content including graphics, videos, reels, and promotional materials
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content calendars across social media channels
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and engagement on social platforms
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and online visibility
  • Optimize Google Business Profile and other local SEO initiatives
  • Analyze campaign performance and prepare reports with actionable insights
  • Launch and manage promotional campaigns, seasonal marketing efforts, and product launches
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure brand consistency across all digital channels
  • Stay updated on industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging digital marketing opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a similar role
  • Proven experience creating and managing content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Strong graphic design and video editing skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated expertise in SEO, local SEO, and Google Business Profile optimization
  • Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and performance reporting
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and creativity

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with food, hospitality, or restaurant brands
  • Familiarity with vegan, plant-based, or sustainability-focused businesses
  • Experience managing marketing for franchise or multi-location businesses
  • Knowledge of paid advertising platforms such as Meta Ads or TikTok Ads
