Real Estate Multimedia Editor | Premiere & Photoshop

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a reliable and creative Real Estate Multimedia Editor to support their in-house media production team. The role will focus primarily on social media content, luxury real estate marketing, agent branding, interviews, property showcase videos, and photo editing. Our client is looking for a versatile multimedia editor rather than someone who specializes solely in video editing. This position is ideal for a mid-junior to mid-level editor who has a strong creative eye, understands visual storytelling, and can help bring content to life through engaging edits that capture attention and support the premium nature of the client's brand.

Schedule

  • Flexible working hours, with availability for communication, project handovers and occasional meetings between approximately 1:00pm–5:00pm NZT, 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Editing short-form vertical social media videos, reels, and platform-specific content
  • Assisting with luxury real estate listing edits, property showcase videos, and agent profile/branding videos
  • Editing interview-driven content and company culture pieces
  • Assisting with YouTube and long-form content edits
  • Creating edits that effectively tell a story and maintain audience engagement
  • Performing basic color grading and audio balancing
  • Real estate photo editing, retouching, sky replacements, and basic Photoshop retouching where required
  • Assisting with dusk edits and luxury image enhancement
  • Managing file organization, project management, and media asset management
  • Exporting content in platform-specific formats
  • Potentially assisting with social media scheduling and content preparation

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom
  • Strong Adobe Premiere Pro experience
  • Experience editing short-form vertical content and a strong understanding of social-first editing styles and pacing
  • Strong sense of music selection, pacing, captions, and storytelling
  • Professional English Communication Skills
  • Basic After Effects knowledge
  • Ability to follow established brand guidelines, templates, and visual standards
  • Intermediate Photoshop and Lightroom knowledge with an understanding of luxury real estate photo presentation and visual aesthetics
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and reliability
  • Ability to edit both video and photo content
  • Reliable internet and ability to manage large media files
  • Reliable high-speed internet (100 Mbps download / 50 Mbps upload minimum; 200 Mbps+ download and 100 Mbps+ upload preferred due to large project file sizes of 50GB–100GB+)
  • A computer capable of handling professional Adobe Creative Suite workflows (Minimum system requirements: 16GB RAM (32GB preferred), SSD storage, and capability for 4K video editing; dedicated GPU preferred)
  • A suitable remote working environment
  • Submission of a portfolio showcasing both video editing and photo editing work (video-only portfolios will not be considered)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Social Media Experience: Experience creating social-first content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, with an understanding of platform-specific formats, audience retention, and vertical/horizontal workflows.
  • Style of Content Alignment: Experience or strong capability in creating premium lifestyle and luxury real estate marketing content, including cinematic reels and storytelling-style edits.
  • Additional Skills (Preferred): Real estate editing experience, HDR photography editing, advanced Photoshop skills, drone footage editing, motion graphics, DaVinci Resolve, AI-assisted editing tools, Mandarin Chinese or additional languages, and luxury branding experience.

Work Style & Expectations

  • Remote position with flexible working hours where candidates may manage their own schedules provided deadlines are met
  • Expected turnaround time of approximately 2–3 business days from receiving footage and project files
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate proactively if delays arise
  • High level of reliability, responsiveness, and consistent delivery
  • Ability to adapt to evolving content requirements and brand standards

  • Adobe Creative Cloud licenses can be provided if required
  • Editing references, brand guidelines, and previous social media examples
  • Sample timelines, projects, example deliverables, and testing materials
